2016 Call for Award Nominations
The call for award nominations for the 2016 awards is now open. AAACE confers several categories of awards to recognize and honor exemplary contributions to adult continuing education. The awards are a highly visible component of the association's statement about standards of excellence in the field and recognize individual and team efforts for leadership, service, knowledge, learners and practice in the field. 2016 Call for Nominations for AAACE Board of Directors
The Nominations and Elections Committee of the American Association for Adult & Continuing Education (AAACE) is requesting nominations for the positions of President Elect, Secretary and Director at Large. Board members have the opportunity to shape the future of AAAACE. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in our association. Please consider nominating yourself or encouraging a colleague to run for this position. The deadline for all nominations is June 1, 2016.

ICACE Invitation to Propose Authoring an Article by AAACE Members
The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE), at their annual conference general session on November 19, 2015, launched an International Compendium of Adult and Continuing Education (ICACE). The purpose of this 500 page print and eEdition hybrid publication in conjunction with Stylus Publishing, scheduled for release in late 2017, is to map the knowledge base of the field. It will contain more than one hundred succinct and substantive articles written by able practitioners and scholars from various countries and parts of the field.

Members of associations worldwide who work in the field are encouraged to visit this website for information about the Compendium, including how to submit a proposal to author an article or to assist with editing.
