The aim of this year’s conference is to provide a setting where we can learn and dialogue about key current and emerging issues in adult education as we move forward into the 21st Century – a place to explore perspectives, share knowledge and best practices and develop or hone skills. Its theme is Developing and sustaining adult learners in the 21st Century as:
Conference partners include the Adult Higher Education Alliance (AHEA) (www.ahea.org), an association of people from across the country engaged in action learning, reflection and discussion; Nevada Adult Educators (NAE) (www.nvadulted.org); and the International Society for Comparative Adult Education (ISCAE) (www.iscae.org). ISCAE will host a two-day conference (Nov 3-4) at the same venue in conjunction with the Commission of International Adult Education’s (CIAE) Pre-Conference (Nov 4-6).

Three miles west of downtown Las Vegas is the 180-acre Springs Reserve with two museums, nature walks and botanical gardens (www.springspreserve.org). Additionally, many National Parks surround Las Vegas, including Zion, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Arches, and Bryce Canyon. Come to Las Vegas this November. You will learn, have fun, and find many ideas during AAACE’s 61st Annual Conference.
