Summary:

Quality Standards for Accelerated Programs

In 2011, the Council for Accelerated Programs' Executive Board, in cooperation with several accrediting agencies, researched and developed the hallmark Standards for Accelerated Programs. In this time of accreditation and legislative unrest, institutions must document and prove the quality of all "nontraditional" delivery formats.

Many institutions are now using these Standards to evaluate their own programs and to prepare for accreditation visits and have found the CAP site visits very informative. In addition to accreditation preparation, the CAP Quality Standards can also greatly assist: leaders who are considering launching an accelerated or nontraditional program; and, enthusiastic administrators who wish to inform traditional university decision-makers and external constituents of the importance and relevance of this quality delivery.

Please join Dr. Royce Ann Collins, who spearheaded the effort to develop these Standards and whose research interest is accelerated programs, for this exciting webinar that will address all nine areas of the Quality Standards for Accelerated Programs.
