AAACE 2017 Conference Call for Proposals Now Open
Tuesday, March 21, 2017
The 2017 AAACE Annual Conference is scheduled for October 31 – November 3, 2017, in beautiful Memphis, Tennessee. There is something about Memphis that brings people together. Its music, energy and authenticity create a magical mix of people and perspectives. We hope you will share your own perspectives with colleagues from across the nation and around the globe. Our theme is “Adult Education: One Chorus of Many Voices.” A RFP for presenters, including varied formats, is available here.
Members/non-members of the AAACE’s Commission for Distance Learning and Technology (CDLT) are encouraged to submit proposals to present or poster themes in all areas of distance learning or technology at the intersection of adult learning to help build on an already strong virtual landscape in all subjects. Presenters may include both practitioners and academics. What is your story? Topics on technology may focus on uses of new technologies, new ways to use current technologies, future trends, workshops, panel presentations, case studies, how-to sessions, community based or higher-education best practices, research, research-to-practice, phenomenological or action research focusing on “lived experiences,” and more! The CDLT serves practitioners, faculty, graduate students, trainers, instructional designers, managers, consultants, nonprofits, businesses, and all others who use technology in serving adults.
Check “Distance and Online Learning (including Technology)” when submitting a related proposal. The AAACE and CDLT cultivate a welcoming interactive environment for presenters.
