Texas State University’s Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) program recently won the prestigious Malcolm Knowles Award for outstanding adult education program leadership.

The BAAS degree is one of several programs in the Department of Occupational, Workforce, and Leadership Studies (OWLS) in the College of Applied Arts. The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) sponsors the award, and Dr. Carrie J. Boden and Dr. Catherine A. Cherrstrom, members, accepted the award on behalf of the program.
