Save the date for our 65th Annual AAACE Conference, November 8-11 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Albuquerque, Mew Mexico. Following a great tradition, the Commission on International Adult Education (CIAE) will host a pre-conference on November 6-8, and the Commission of Professors of Adult Education (CPAE) co-conference will be held November 10-11.
The theme for our 2016 conference is Celebrating the Vast Landscape of Adult Learning. One of the great strengths of our organization is the breadth of experience and knowledge that exists among membership. The 2016 theme will remind us of this vast landscape, and offer opportunities for keynotes, presentations, posters, and discussions celebrating that which makes AAACE so unique. The conference will include concurrent, roundtable, and poster sessions in such areas as Workforce Development, Community College, Non-Formal, Career, Continuing Professional, Health, Religious, Military, and International Adult Education, as well as Distance and Adult Learning, Adult Numeracy and Literacy, Human Resource Development, Program Management, and other related areas. With this broad a landscape, there is definitely a place for you.
Be sure to watch www.AAACE.org for updates on the Albuquerque conference. The Call for Proposals is scheduled to open in February 2016, so be thinking about how you can participate in the conference as a presenter. Email blasts will be forthcoming with information on early bird conference and hotel registration. Mark you calendar now, this is one you won’t want to miss!
If you would like to be a part of our conference planning team, please contact Steve Frye at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Happy rest of 2015, and I look forward to seeing you in Albuquerque!
