IACET and AAACE Announce Partnership To Support Continuing Education Initiatives
June 13, 2016 [Reston, VA] -- The International Association for Continuing Education and Development (IACET) and American Association of Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) are pleased to announce their partnership. The organizations will collaborate on continuing education and training research, content, and advocacy initiatives. They also will be seeking other associations and nonprofits to join this new collaboration. This will provide a stronger voice for adult educators, trainers, learners. It will also offer additional opportunities for these groups to interact and share knowledge.
Joe McClary, IACET CEO, said, "IACET is proud to announce this important partnership with the American Association of Adult and Continuing Education. While our missions are unique, our organizations share many commonalities that are complimentary. We are especially grateful for the many commissions hosted by AAACE and the research they do that contributes to the adult continuing education and training community."
