Mapping the Field of Adult & Continuing Education: An International Compendium is a co-publication with Stylus publishing and the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE). The core editorial team for the compendium is comprised of Alan Knox, Simone Conceição, and Larry Martin.

The purpose of this Compendium is to encourage use of a major reference work based on mapping the knowledge base of the adult and continuing education field. This resulting Compendium is a much needed contribution to the professional development of practitioners and scholars in the field of adult and continuing education.  The Compendium provides a thematic organization of concepts that explain important aspects of adult and continuing education including theory and practice for comparative analysis of content and sources from other countries. This Compendium is available in print and electronically and a Virtual Forum series that provides discussion and insight on select articles included in the Compendium is available.

The Compendium and the supporting tools below are excellent resources for multidisciplinary scholars, graduate students, and scholarly practitioners.
