The wheels are spinning at AAACE, with your leadership team, SIG leaders, and commission directors. They are moving full speed ahead. 3. Message from the President-Elect
It is hard to believe that the 2016 AAACE Conference is a mere 4 months away. The Conference Planning Committee and the Management Team have been working hard preparing for what will be a memorable event. I am looking forward to the visit to Albuquerque , a beautiful city with stunning views of the Sandia Mountains. We had an impressive group of proposals submitted this year – a grand total of 331! This represents strong growth, and bodes well for the conference. The Proposal group, led by Leslie Cordie, took on the Herculean task of organizing the proposal review process. The large number of submission meant extra work reviewing and then matching proposals with the most appropriate sessions types to allow for as many voices as possible . We will have concurrent, shared concurrent, round table and poster presentation sessions. Each style offers a different type of presenter/attendee interaction. I look forward to sharing my time with a variety of session types. Read More.
